TRX Suspension

TRX Suspension Training began with the U.S. Navy SEALS. It is a revolutionary method of leveraged bodyweight exercise. Our trainers will help you build power, strength, flexibility, balance, and mobility, all at your own personal intensity. This program is taught in small groups, personal training style.

Level 1:
M/W 11:00 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. • AOERC Fitness Center

Level 2:
M/W 7:00 a.m. – 7:45 a.m. • AOERC Fitness Center
M/W/F 12:00 p.m. – 12:45 p.m. • AOERC Fitness Center
Thursday 5:00 p.m. – 5:45 p.m. • AOERC Fitness Center

*Please note no classes will be held at the ACSR over the summer due to the fitness center renovation project.
*Each time slot is a separate class, meeting once per week throughout the quarter

Class Descriptions:

Level I – Recommended for individuals who have never participated in a TRX class. Level I TRX is great for individuals who are time-challenged for exercise. This class incorportes occupational related movements with TRX conditioning.

Level II – All levels are welcome, and intermediate/advanced individuals will be fully challenged throughout the quarter.

TRX Sport (NEW!) – Takes a new spin on TRX training. Participants will integrate sport specific functional training with TRX conditioning.

CombaTRX – Adds combatitive and cardio movement to TRX training. Participants will integrate kettlebells and martial arts with TRX conditioning.

Cost:

$90 Students, $100 F/S, $100 Stanford Community, $30 BeWell

Each class will have a maximum of 10 participants. Class sections (dates and times subject to change, please check the website before registering).

*Stanford students, Faculty/Staff and Stanford Community are eligible to participate in Recreation Classes. Stanford Community members are Dependents 18 and older, Spouses, Hospital Employees who have purchased an Athletic Access Card, Retirees, or Partners of a Student, Faculty or Staff.

**BeWell note: To be eligible for the BeWell $30 rate, benefits-eligible employees must complete the Stanford Health and Lifestyle Assessment (SHALA) in 2014. If you have specific questions about the BeWell program or want to participate please go to bewell.stanford.edu. As a BeWell eligible employee, please note you are eligible for 2 classes per quarter at the BeWell $30 rate.
